Siaya
Siaya is a town in Siaya County, Western Kenya, located northeast of Lake Victoria. The area is rich in Luo culture and history, being the birthplace of several prominent Kenyans including Jaramogi Oginga Odinga and Barack Obama Sr. Attractions include Lake Kanyaboli, the Yala Swamp complex, Usenge Beach on Lake Victoria, and the Got Ramogi and Got Abiero hills, which are significant in Luo migration history [citation:2][citation:7].
